The GRUNTS had an amazing time at the Trunk or Treat event last weekend. We got to show off our robot and talk to the community about robotics and STEM education. The robot handed out the candy and the trick-or-treaters got to feed balls to the robot. This was our first event with our new Granby/East Granby expanded team. Go GRUNTS!

We had an awesome turnout for our recruitment meeting. Thanks to the students from GMHS and now EGHS, as well as their caregivers, for coming and seeing what our team has to offer. We can't wait to build your knowledge in STEM, accounting, programming, and so much more!

Exciting News! We are pleased to announce that we have been given the green light to expand our robotics program to East Granby High School.

Thank you to all that made this partnership possible, both in Granby and East Granby. We look forward to sharing our knowledge and experience in STEM with both communities.

The GRUNTS had an awesome time rolling through the Fourth of July Parade and celebrating America’s 250th! The sunshine made it a perfect day to share our robot with the community, and the team loved showing off what it can do.

A huge thank‑you to one of our amazing sponsors, Bobby Macaulay of Macaulay Excavation & Tree Services, LLC, for lending his truck to pull our float — we couldn’t have done it without you!

Our season is winding down but, it's not over yet! Sunday, May 17th we compete against the top teams in CT at the CT State Championships! None of these events would be possible for us without the unwavering support of our mentors, families, sponsors, and advocates. Fire up this video and feel the drive behind our team!

We'd like to wish a very Happy Birthday to our very own Dr. Flush! Thank you for all that you do!

Well... that's a wrap for us at the New England District Championships. While we didn't get picked to join an alliance and participate in the playoffs, we are looking forward to cheering on the other teams. Now we break down the pit, load the bot, and buckle up to watch the playoffs!

What an incredible day for our team! We met tons of new people, learned a lot, and had an absolute blast out on the field. We wrapped up today ranked 37 out of 50 teams with a 4‑8‑0 record — and tomorrow we’ll find out if we’re selected by one of the top 8 teams to join their alliance for playoffs.

Long days and hard work feel even more rewarding thanks to the amazing support we get from all of you. We truly couldn’t do this without our supporters cheering us on.

A huge thank‑you to CT State Representative Mark Anderson for spending time with us today and diving into the ins and outs of our team and the competition. Your support means so much.

And of course… a special visit from our very own Dr. Flush made the day even better. May the flush be with you!

On to tomorrow — let’s see what the next chapter brings!
