Congratulations to our Gb Middle School teams that made it to the qualifying matches. Team 6 fell short just a few pins last week. Coaches DQ and Elijah thank you for your help.
Team 4 were divisional winners and presented with medals, and a scholarship award! They bowled great and the pins didn’t fall the way we wanted. I’m so proud of you all! Can’t wait for my 8th graders to try out next season for high school.

The GB Boys concluded the season in impressive fashion at the State finals held at Thunderbowl Lanes, securing 5th place and a spot in the top 8 and bowling in the ARENA. During qualifying, the highlight was undoubtedly the 296 baker game, an electrifying experience. The team's journey came to an end with a hard-fought 3-1 loss to Davison in the opening round. Meanwhile, Lucas Knowles showcased exceptional skill in the State Singles finals, finishing 3rd in qualifying and advancing to the top 16. Lucas won his first-round match against Ethan Parce from Holt with a score of 416-340. He then faced Cole Rogus from Macomb Dakota in a nail-biting match that went down to the 10th frame, emerging victorious with a score of 444-442. Lucas's journey continued with a tough quarterfinal match against Andrew Fsadni from Salem, where despite a strong performance, he lost 405-388. I’m so proud of you and thank you for being your coach. We congratulate Lucas on his outstanding high school career and wish him all the best in college.

Lucas Knowles was a beast today! He made it to the top 4 and that match came down to the 10th frame. Young man, you handled yourself like a champion today. Congrats on a great showing.

Meadow Ng and Gabby Echols battled all day at State Finals. Although it didn’t turn out the way we wanted, I’m still extremely proud of both of these two ladies. Even when times got tough, they held their heads up. Nothing but big things coming for both of them!

Congratulations to Meadow and Gabby. These 2 are going to state singles. I’m so proud of them. They never quit and it payed off. It was tough competition today with very few pins separating the girls. Thunderbowl here we come.

Today at Grand Blanc Lanes for Regional 3 Boys Singles.Senior Lucas Knowles bowled 6 games of 257-257-223-265-236-227 for total of 1465, averaging 244 and top qualifier position. Also earned his spot for Boys Bowling State Finals. Congratulations Lucas on a fantastic performance. Other notable scores Aidan Mosqueda 268-267-215, Cody Brinson 225-215-207-206, Jack Hitzelberger 255, Ahmad Smith 231-218.

Congratulations to GB Varsity Boys. Punch ticket for States Team Finals next week at Thunderbowl Lanes after winning Division 1 Regional 3 at Grand Blanc Lanes. The Bobcats were top qualifiers from start to finish. The boys stayed focused, and the team was determined to stay on track. Regional singles qualifying for States is up next. I'm so proud of these young men.
