We Need an EPIC Coordinator — and We Mean It! 🌟

After years of heart and dedication, our incredible EPIC Coordinator Lynne Taylor is retiring — and we need the right person to carry this program forward.

Our EPIC (Everyone Plays In our Community) program is something truly special. We're the ONLY region in the area that offers it. Every Sunday, athletes with disabilities and their volunteer buddies come together to learn, grow, and simply play soccer. It is joy in its purest form.

Lynne will be available to consult and help the new coordinator get their footing — and you don't have to do it alone. You're welcome to build your own team around you.

But here's the honest truth: if we can't find someone to step up, this program ends. And that's not something we're willing to accept without a fight.

⚽🌟 THAT'S A WRAP — WHAT AN INCREDIBLE WEEKEND!

The Michigan Area G Summer Kickoff Tournament is in the books and we are so incredibly proud of everything our players, families, and volunteers brought to Hartker Fields this weekend!

Every player who stepped onto that field represented AYSO Grand Blanc Region 169 with outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination. Win or lose, our kids showed exactly what AYSO is all about — on and off the field. We could not be more proud. ⚽❤️

This weekend was no small feat and it truly took a village to make it happen. A huge heartfelt thank you to:

🚌 MTA-Flint and our incredible shuttle drivers — you worked an extraordinarily long day both days to keep our families moving and we are so grateful. You were absolutely essential to this tournament happening at all. Please know how much you are appreciated! 💛

Here's your reminder for Sunday June 7 at Grand Blanc:
📍 Park at Grand Blanc East Middle School, 6100 Perry Rd
🚌 FREE MTA shuttle to and from the fields
⏰ Shuttle Hours Sunday June 7 — 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
🦽 Shuttle is handicap accessible — limited handicap parking available at fields but not guaranteed
📦 Player and gear drop-off available at the fields
⏰ All teams must check in 60 minutes before their first game — no exceptions! Give yourself plenty of time to park and shuttle!

🚌 Quick Parking Reminder for games at Grand Blanc:
All spectator parking is offsite at Grand Blanc East Middle School, 6100 Perry Rd. Take the FREE MTA shuttle to the fields!
Saturday June 6: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday June 7: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

🦽 The MTA shuttle is handicap accessible! Limited handicap parking is available at the fields but cannot be guaranteed — the shuttle is your most reliable accessibility option.
