Grand Blanc AYSO Region 169 is 100% volunteer-run — and right now, between seasons, is the ideal time to join our team. When fall arrives, we want our coaches on the field, our referees ready to call it, and our board in place to support every family.

Our EPIC program — Everyone Plays In our Community — has been a cornerstone of Grand Blanc AYSO Region 169 for years, giving players with disabilities the chance to learn, grow, and experience the joy of soccer every Sunday alongside their volunteer buddies.

We are the only region in our area that offers this. That's something worth protecting.

Our incredible coordinator, Lynne Taylor, is stepping down after years of devoted service — and we're looking for the person who will carry her legacy forward. You won't be starting from scratch. Lynne will be available to help with the transition, and you're encouraged to build a team around you.

If you've ever watched an EPIC athlete score their first goal or high-five their buddy after practice, you already know why this role matters.

We're searching for our next EPIC Coordinator — someone ready to lead one of the most rewarding programs in our region. EPIC (Everyone Plays In our Community) gives players with disabilities the chance to learn, grow, and play soccer every Sunday, paired with caring volunteer buddies. We're the only region in the area offering this, and that's something we're determined to protect.

Our outgoing coordinator, Lynne Taylor, is retiring after years of incredible leadership — but she's not disappearing. She'll be available to help the new coordinator get started, and you're welcome to build a team to share the work.

We Need an EPIC Coordinator — and We Mean It! 🌟

After years of heart and dedication, our incredible EPIC Coordinator Lynne Taylor is retiring — and we need the right person to carry this program forward.

Our EPIC (Everyone Plays In our Community) program is something truly special. We're the ONLY region in the area that offers it. Every Sunday, athletes with disabilities and their volunteer buddies come together to learn, grow, and simply play soccer. It is joy in its purest form.

Lynne will be available to consult and help the new coordinator get their footing — and you don't have to do it alone. You're welcome to build your own team around you.

But here's the honest truth: if we can't find someone to step up, this program ends. And that's not something we're willing to accept without a fight.
