Grab your discs and leash up some fun — because this year’s Wilson’s Big Bark Open is going to be an absolute tail-waggin’ blast! 🐕💨 We’re howlin’ with excitement to announce that this year’s event is dedicated to none other than Holly Wood’s legendary best boy, Rosco D Discdog! 🥏🐶

Rosco wasn’t just a dog — he was a disc-sniffing, tail-wagging course legend and everyone’s favorite four-legged fan. ❤️ Every single dollar raised at this event will be donated in Rosco’s memory to help more animals find loving homes. So let’s throw for a cause, chase those chains, and make Rosco proud! 🐾✨

🐶 Why We Play

This event also holds a special place in our hearts because it’s played in memory of my father-in-law, Jim Wilson, who passed away in 2021. Jim was a lifelong dog lover and proud owner of three German Shepherds. After he passed, we found ourselves needing to re-home one of them — and that’s when Fenton Adopt-A-Pet came to the rescue. 🦴❤️

They helped us through an incredibly tough time, and now we’re paying it forward once again.

“Adopt-A-Pet is committed to helping people and animals in need. We hold ourselves to a high standard — one that looks out for the physical and mental well-being of our animals. Our mission is to place unwanted, adoptable animals into loving homes and reduce the number of animals euthanized in overcrowded shelters. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested, and microchipped before adoption. Every adopter is carefully screened to ensure the paw-fect match.”

💸 Optional 50/50 CTP: $3 cash. Half goes to the winner, half goes to the pups.

🥏 Optional Ace Pool: $2. No aces? All the bones go straight to charity.

❤️ Entry Fees: $30 from each team’s entry fee will be donated directly to Fenton Adopt-A-Pet. $10 per player goes to cash payouts.

The Patriot returns to a new location ane a very appropriate 4th of July weekend!! The new location is Sorensen Disc Golf Course in Holly.

We will once again we raising funds for the Adopt A Pet of Fenton, Michigan as a charity CTP.

We will have 12 berths to the Michigan Amatuer Disc Golf Michigan Amateur Disc Golf State Championships to award each day.

Berth Blitz Berth Blitz is a Disc golf tournament in Holly, Michigan beginning April 27, 2025 and hosted by Black Ace Disc Golf.

The Berth Blitz is at the end of April at Holly Woods Disc Golf Course. Win your berth the Michigan Amateur Disc Golf State Championships in this low cost event! $10 for all divisions.

There will be a minimum of 1 berth available for every division that is offered. Berths from non-forming divisions may or may not be awarded at this event. If there are berths from non-forming divisions that are awarded, they will be awarded to divisions of my choice and that decision will be made at the event. For example, there is a not a FA1 player, that berth may be awarded to another division but that decision would be made the day of the event.

Black Ace Sanctioned Singles League Jersey These jerseys are 100% polyester and fully sublimated, meaning the design will not fade over time. They have a crew neck and are lightweight and breathable. The Pre-Order runs through July 13th Orders will begin shipping end of July.

Discraft Michigan Amateur State Championships Discraft Michigan Amateur State Championships is a PDGA-sanctioned disc golf tournament in Ludington, Michigan beginning August 30, 2024 and hosted by Michigan Disc Golf Organization.
