The Next Chapter of Grand Blanc Cheer
With great pride, Grand Blanc Athletics welcomes back Coach Christina Swansey as Head Coach of the Bobcats Cheer program, alongside Assistant Coach Annie Sherrod.
For Swansey, this is more than a new role—it’s a return to a place that helped shape her.
Grand Blanc has always been a program built on pride, tradition, and a standard of excellence that runs deep. To step back into this program, surrounded by a community that means so much, is both an honor and a responsibility she does not take lightly.
Alongside her, Annie Sherrod brings unwavering dedication and a true commitment to athletes—making this partnership one rooted in trust, belief, and a shared vision for what this program can be.
From the sidelines to the competitive floor, this staff is committed to developing well-rounded athletes and building a program grounded in discipline, accountability, and pride.
Together, they are committed to building more than teams—they are building confident athletes, strong leaders, and a culture that reflects what Grand Blanc Cheer has always stood for.

Congratulations to our GBVC Senior, Victor Gomez!
This week Victor Gomez, GBHS CTE student in Business & Entrepreneurship, was filmed and interviewed by the MDE for a statewide recruitment video! MDE wants to encourage students who might not usually see themselves represented in promotions to explore Career & Technical Education programs. We are excited to have him represent our district!

Victor is an outstanding student who excels both in class and in DECA, the program’s extracurricular club. He and his partner, Gabrielle Hannosh, just recently secured the 2026 DECA State Championship for their Franchise Business Plan and accepted the Glass Award with GBHS DECA! Congratulations, Victor and Gabrielle! We will be cheering you on at the upcoming International competition in Atlanta!

Congratulations to our Lady Bobcats from both middle schools tonight!

GB West competed away and made a HUGE impact on their scores. They came home with a 2nd place 🥈 WIN!

GB East hosted a smooth competition that was exciting and fun for all teams! They stood strong and had a well deserved 3rd place 🥉 WIN!

We are extremely proud of these athletes and coaches. Way to keep pushing for more and stepping up your game every week. ♥️🐾🌟🖤
