GF City Soccer

Well, the season was supposed to start tomorrow. Unfortunately, there haven't been enough teams registered to have an eight-team league this year. For various reasons such as not finding enough players, lack of funding for individual teams, not wanting to play unless there is a cash prize, too many injuries on the team, the teams just haven't solidified this year.

After the success of the last two years, it seemed like this would be a great yearly activity for the community, but that isn't going to be the case. I am sorry and apologize to the teams and players who were hoping to participate this year. We can't say what the future will bring, but there will not be an eight-team league this year. However, I'm sure this won't be the end of organized, adult, competitive soccer in our city. See you around!

With team captain, Chile, planning to be around the entirety of the season and a beefed up roster, the team is looking to take home the cup.
