Congratulations to Paisley Mounts and Sydney Hearne! These two Lincoln Sharpshooters earned their invitation to the 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships to compete in Smallbore Rifle for Team Louisiana back in May. Together they were half of the team, which also consisted of Megan Wallace (Bossier Parish) and Logan Benoit (Lafourche Parish). There were 89 Smallbore Rifle competitors from across the country present. Team Louisiana was coached by Bobby Mounts and Brad Hearne of the Lincoln Sharpshooters.

Sydney Hearne, of Ruston High School, placed 3rd Individual in Silhouettes, 5th place Individual in CMP, 37th Individual in NRA 3P, and 16th Place Overall.

Paisley Mounts, of Cedar Creek High School, placed 10th Individual in Silhouettes, 14th in CMP Individual, 3rd place in NRA 3P, and 3rd Place Overall.

As a team, they placed 1st in Silhouettes, 2nd in CMP, 2nd in NRA 3P, and 2nd Place Overall Team!

Louisiana 4-H Shooting Sports placed 1st in the nation for the 6th time.

Awards for day 1 of 4-H Nationals . Sydney Hearne took 3rd Place Individual in Silhouettes. Paisley Mounts and Sydney also took 1st Place Team in Silhouettes. Our Lincoln Sharpshooters are crushing it!
