Huge congratulations and best of luck to one of our long-time members, Shawn, as he flies out to Semmering, Austria to compete in the Strong Spirit’s Games! 🇦🇹💪 At the Strong Spirit’s Games, elite athletes, military athletes, veterans and amateur athletes from around the world will compete in various strength and multi-sport disciplines.

If you’ve put in work at 970Muscle over the years, you already know Shawn. He is the definition of consistency, heavy lifting, and an amazing guy. Day in and day out, he has trusted the process and pushed his limits right here on our training floor. Now, he’s taking that elite work ethic to the Alps to represent Grand Junction against some of the toughest competitors in the world.

The Strong Spirit’s Games bring together some of the toughest competitors in the world, and we have zero doubt that Shawn is going to make us proud and share his gentle spirit with others.

September 11, 2001 — We Remember. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years later, the memories of that day stay with us.

Today, we honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and everyday heroes who answered the call on September 11th and in the years that have followed.

We are especially mindful that strength is more than what we can lift. It’s about courage, sacrifice, resilience, standing together, and being there for one another when life gets heavy.

Today, we pause to honor those who gave everything, those who answered the call, and those who continue to serve.

We remember. We honor. We stand together.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day 2026

🇺🇸Today, we remember those who sacrificed so we could live in freedom. This Memorial Day, we're thankful for those who gave their lives while serving. And we're thinking of those who have lost someone they love. Thank you for your sacrifice🙏

Today we CELEBRATE 13 years of making a difference.

What started as a gym has grown into a community built on support, strength, and shared goals. None of this would be possible without our incredible members. We have so many reasons to be thankful every day, but our members are at the top of the list.

To every person who has come through our doors at some point in their lives to see what our gym has to offer, thank you.

To all of you who have referred a friend, a family member, spouse, and even your kids, thank you.

Thank you for trusting us with your health, your goals, and your journey. Thank you for the friendships, the high-fives, the encouragement, and the moments that remind us why we do what we do.
