Thank you, Cavs.๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ

Johnson County Community College earns its first-ever national title, capping off a historic 67-3 season. WHAT. A. MOVIE. ๐ŸŽฅ

While this marks the Cavsโ€™ first-ever National Title, it is also only the 3rd title in KJCCC Baseball history, and sets the modern-era record for NJCAA single-season wins. As the no. 1 seed of the tournament (and country), JCCC led in batting average (.396) and fielding percentage (.986), and had the second-lowest ERA (5.84). The Cavs are the first team to sweep the Alpine Bank Junior College World Series in five years. ๐Ÿ˜ค

Their dominant baseball performance here was a reflection of their record-setting season, with 219 homeruns (15 at ), 881 runs, and 830 RBIs on the season. They led college baseball history in homeruns (beating out the 1997 LSU team by over 30). As the Cavs leave their mark in college baseball history, we are grateful that they brought their homeruns AND heart to .๐Ÿ’™

This year, the Cavs shared their compassion with our fans and community. They generously stepped aside so another team could enjoy being Challenger buddies, but never lost sight of their gratitude.๐Ÿ™

Thank you for the memories, the moments, and the fire on the field, Cardiac Cavs! Congrats on an incredible, cinematic season. Weโ€™ll see you again soon.๐Ÿ’›

Thank you, Bucs. โš”๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

Blinn concludes itโ€™s 2026 season as the DI National Runners Up. The Bucs were top-ranked all year, concluding pre-tournament polls as no 3 in the nation (week 11) and entering as the no 2 seed. They battled back into the Championship after one loss. ๐Ÿ’ช

Not only did the Bucs show up with constant grit, they made this yearโ€™s tournament incredibly special. Itโ€™s one thing to lead the tournament with the lowest ERA (5.49) and have the second best batting average (.365). But itโ€™s a whole other ballgame to make the run that they made in the same year their Head Coach, , was inducted into the NJCAA Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. ๐ŸŒŸ Not to mention, they did it with GJ-area local, grad, Hunter Smolinski. ๐Ÿพ

This yearโ€™s Blinn program continued the Buc way, shining with their girt AND gratitude. They never disappoint our GJ community, showing up for their challenger buddies and the fans. ๐Ÿ’™

Thank you for all of the memories, Bucs. Congrats on an incredible season โ€” we are so glad that was part of it. See you again soon. โš”๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
