Action Pistol Group MISSION: Train responsible persons to safely handle fi****ms and host world-class competition in Palisade, Colorado.

The Action Pistol Group (APG), based in Mesa County, CO, is dedicated to providing comprehensive personal protection training and education for individuals of all abilities and ages. The APG also offers advanced training and competitive shooting activities. All courses are NRA Certified and coached by qualified male and female volunteers. The Action Pistol Group held a Basic Pistol with Concealed Handgun Permit + CHP Renewal Class on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex near Palisade. Thank you and great job to all the students who completed the class! Both the full-day Concealed Handgun Permit course and CHP Renewal meet all State of Colorado Guidelines for certifications and are taught by Mesa County Verified Instructors and NRA Certified Pistol Instructors. APG would like to thank the many talented volunteers who assist with the classes.

APG is offering numerous fi****ms training opportunities in the next few months including NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting; Intro to Competitive Shooting; Concealed Handgun Permit Renewal and NRA Certified Instructor. Upcoming local competitive shooting events at Cameo hosted by APG include IDPA, USPSA and Steel Challenge.

Congratulations to the Fruita-Monument High School Clays Team for their impressive performance at the Colorado State Championships in Colorado Springs! The Team received the following awards:

⭐️First Place Highest Average for a Team for the Season in their Conference in Trap
⭐️First Place Highest Average for an Individual in Trap
⭐️Colorado State Championship in S***t
⭐️Highest Season Average for a Male in S***t
⭐️Highest Overall Average for the Season in S***t
⭐️Highest Female Varsity Shooter in Trap

Action Pistol Group of Grand Junction (APG) supported the team with a contribution of over $8,000 to cover ammunition and uniforms. APG is a charitable organization that has been training responsible citizens how to safely handle fi****ms for over 24 years. We are also the anchor tenant at the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex hosting monthly matches in four disciplines of competitive shooting. APG acknowledges the hard work and dedication of the "Wildcat Clays Team" and applauds the coaches, families and others who support the Team!
