Fitness Reflections:
~my fitness has been all over the place! I haven’t felt I’ve been eating enough &!while I’m enjoying looking leaner, I am discouraged about some sciatic pain I have been experiencing which is hindering me from doing my favorite lifts like squats & deadlifts :/ i HATE injuries. any athlete can relate to the mental toll it takes on you when you aren’t physically able to perform the way you typically do. however, I’ve had a few nagging injuries over the course of my time as a former powerlifter, crossfitter, & in general strength training. the truth is—I am competitive with myself & with anything you do competitively, you run the risk of injury. it was the very last day of my program & I wanted to see how heavy I could hip thrusts a 5x5. I was determined to put 405 on the bar. & I got it! But on my very last rep, I recall disengaging my core which made my left hip shift. I went about the rest of the workout and the next day, I woke up with some pretty bad lower back/piriformis pain. :/ i kept going though. now that’s put me several months into navigating an unnecessary injury. what was once a minor issue, has now become something affecting my daily life. i should’ve paid closer attention & eased off my heavy lifts once I noticed the pain. Did I? No. Lol (every lifters bad habit…ego lifting😅) but now i am here. sitting with this universal lesson that applies to lifting AND to life:
what is hurt & not healed, will begin to bleed into other areas of life & only get worse.
take the time needed to notice when an injury forms (or heart ache occurs). don’t ignore it or “push through” it. it will bite you in the butt later on down the road (literally in my case LOL). take time to recover, treat the cause not the symptoms, & ease back into things. your body & mind will thank you for it later!!

Just lately💪🏻☀️🍗😋
~recently I’ve been hyper aware of the season of life I’m in. although it’s difficult, I have a deep sense of joy & appreciation for life that cannot be shaken. I hope you can lean into that this week, too. No matter what you’re going through or hardships you’re facing! Keep going 👊🏼💥✨~

👋it’s been a while, !!💪🏼💥posting fitness related content on here had to take a back burner as the last month or so has been CRAZY busy! I GRADUATE 👩🎓 next week with my Masters and I am SO pumped to be DONE with school assignments for the rest of my life!! 😂 But I’ve still been grinding 👊🏼💥just more in silence lately until I can make creating fitness content more of a priority.
My program went GREAT & I, as well as many of the participants, made great progress! At the completion of the 8-weeks, I was the strongest AND leanest I had ever been in my life with close to 73lbs of muscle mass and 14-15% body fat. 👏
I will have more program reflections coming later as I get back into the swing of things with my fitness business. I WILL be doing another launch of the program so IF you didn’t catch a spot last round, stay tuned! Ill be posting about that after graduation and before Christmas.
Meanwhile, here’s a little photo dump of a few gym selfies I felt my best in to celebrate! 🎉
Hope you all have a great week!

On another episode of action figure saga…
**goes from Kim Possible to Queen in 30 mins** 👉🏼🤣
Headed into week 5 of &
I am truly feeling in my best shape & that makes me super excited! This is definitely the strongest I’ve felt & the most muscle mass I’ve had while maintaining a low body fat percentage. I look forward to what the next Phase of the program has in store! Curious about my online programs? 👀 DM me!!
Note: we’re not always gunna feel like we’re “in the best shape.” I can’t tell you how many times that feeling has come & gone in the years I’ve been on this fitness journey, lol. But I’ve definitely learned that when we DO feel our best—we should celebrate it. And when we don’t, we DEFINITELY shouldn’t beat ourselves up about it! The ebb&flow is a real thing. Keep showing up & putting in the work and that feeling WILL come back again. Don’t let the comparison of where you “used to be” discourage you from where you want to go! Let it inspire you. Let others inspire you. Flip the script in your head that sees another person succeeding or feeling good about themselves and says, “why can’t I be that motivated!” or “why don’t I look like that?” and instead perceive other peoples success as inspiration; switching the script to, “if she can do it, so can I!” or “if I’ve come this far, I can’t imagine where I’ll be if I keep going!”
Mental games. Notice them. Take control of them. Keep grinding!

🦋💪🏼glowing through a metamorphosis of sorts; out of our darkest days, we shine the brightest; embrace the difficult days so we can better celebrate the easy ones; never let anyone or anything taint your soul or dim your light; treasure that precious part within you that contains childlike joy; joy is healing for the soul🫶🏻

***goes from this 👉🏼🥵👈🏼to this👉🏼👸👈🏼in less than 30 minutes 😅**
My workout ended at 4:30 & I walked in fully ready head-to-toe by 5 👏🤣 this is what my “behind-the-scenes” looks like during my time as a titleholder.
What’s my point? 🧐
We MAKE time for what’s important to us!
For me personally, my workouts are literal physical/mental therapy for me…I would rather sacrifice a little time to get ready than to miss a “therapy” session.
Was the workout perfect? no.
But I’m DEDICATED to showing up and putting the work in when/how I can.
What about you?
Do you struggle with this level of dedication to your fitness journey? 👀
Do you live a busy life where you feel it’s hard to make your workouts a priority? 🤔
Let me help you add structure to your routine…
Following a program might be exactly what you need to find that level of dedication and commitment to the gym.
Since launching my first round of — i feel such an ease going into the gym knowing what exactly to expect. Is it always easy? Absolutely not. But it’s rewarding. You feel you have a sense of direction and not walking around the gym aimlessly.
If you’re interested in working together, DM me. I help people add structure & routine to their workouts by building general & specific ONLINE programs. In return, this makes you feel more structured in LIFE! After all, how we do one thing can/will have an impact on how we do the next.
Let me be your catalyst.
Let me be your COACH.
