We've had a couple of very successful track days recently. We've been dialing in the new car and doing some more testing. Although there were many issues, this car is a blast to drive! We took some sweet photos too, check them out!

Hello All,
Today, Friday (4/8), the team will be running a fundraising campaign as a part of the CMU Day of Giving. In order to support our program, we have to fundraise nearly $20,000 annually. We depend upon the generous donations of our sponsors, CMU faculty, and alumni in order to keep our professional development program alive, and we humbly request that you consider donating to our cause. This event is unique, since the CMU foundation is awarding extra funds to the campaigns which have the most donors, the most student involvement, and the greatest net amount raised. Even if you can only donate $1.00, engaging with our fundraiser gives us a fighting chance to win one of these bonuses! The proceeds from this event will help us complete our transition to 10” centerlock wheels and a new Kawasaki Z650 engine platform, as well as covering competition registration and travel costs for spring 2023. We will post a link to the webpage on all of our social media platforms at 8:00 am on Friday.
For those interested in being involved with the development and improvement of our vehicle, we will be hosting a critical design review on Wednesday, May 4th. This event gives our members an opportunity to formalize their research and practice their design presentations as we prepare for the next year of redesign and testing. Unlike regular competition years, we will not have a car completed for the May 2022 competition. We are confident in our team's readiness for this event, and would be delighted to have our alumni and sponsors join us in grilling some designs! For those interested in attending, please message one of our social media accounts with your name, email, and the area of the car you’d be interested in reviewing. More details coming soon!
We cannot thank our alumni enough for the foundation they laid so that we could have an opportunity to succeed. We look forward to building a closer relationship for the benefit of all our members.
Thank You,
Mesa Motorsports

The team helped D51 STEM judge their Rube-Goldberg competition last week. The students machines had to display multiple energy transformations and simple machines to open a book at the end. The winning student won prize money to help fund their classroom! It was great to help with this competition and see young students be involved in STEM!

We are very excited to help out with judging the D51 STEM Rube Goldberg Machine building competition next week!
