The Junction Allstars Ode to the Branding Iron Bar Did your bar hopping in the 1980's and 90's lead you to a small bar in Orchard Mesa? A Grand Junction band put together this tune as a tribute to this establishment.

This makes my sad today.

It is with great sadness that the Chincoteague Vol Fire Co announces the death of our dear friend, Maureen Beebe. A true Chincoteague icon with a huge heart and huge personality. She was so much more than the little girl depicted in the MISTY book. She was a legend, a testament to good works, a heartfelt soul who cherished her independence and her family. This island will never be the same and we as individuals and company as a whole have been forever blessed by her gift of love and friendship that she bestowed to each of us. Ride high Maureen, we will love you forever!

Trigger (born 1932), originally named Golden Cloud, was a 15.3 hands palomino horse, made famous in American Western films with his owner/rider, cowboy star Roy Rogers. Trigger's sire was a Thoroughbred and his dam a grade (unregistered) mare who, like Trigger, was a palomino. He was called "The Smartest Horse in the Movies" because of his ability to perform a variety of tricks (some 60) including counting, doing the hula, untying ropes, knocking on doors and walking on his hind quarters.
