We are looking for a couple pairs of youth shorts and/or youth jerseys for some fall players. The Nelson Woodshims orange jersey and club logo shorts. If you have any you no longer need or use they can be dropped off at the ALC doors at the old Southwest Elementary School (Admin building). The doors on the west side facing the crosswalk to the rink and basketball court. Thank you in advance!

Fall In-House 6v6 Update — U10 Teams

Big update for our U10 families: starting this season, U10 will no longer be coed! We'll now have separate boys' and girls' teams, with girls' teams playing games against both girls' and boys' teams. U6 and U8 will remain coed as always.

As a reminder, registration closes in mid-August and league play kicks off in September — so if you haven't signed up yet, now's the time! This is a great low-pressure way for kids to stay active, build skills, and have fun with friends this fall. No tryouts, no cuts — all players welcome.

Fall 2026 Future Stars Fall In-House 6v6 is a local, coed soccer league focused on fun, development, and game experience in a low-pressure environment. This program is designed to keep players active in the fall while emphasizing teamwork, skill growth, and enjoyment of the game through small-sided play.

There is a free coaches clinic for all GRASC coaches this Sunday, July 26, from 1:30-3:00 At the Sports complex.

The lead instructor is Paul Devlin, who works for the FA (Football Association) in England, and spends September-May traveling around the UK working with coaches at all levels. He also played and coached professionally for Carlisle United in England and has a UEFA A coaching license, the highest in the world. For more on his profile, you can google him… the soccer player, not the actor.

He is assisted by Corey Bachand, former UWS and Duluth East HS boys coach, who has led teams to multiple state top 3 finishes.

No RSVP needed, just showing up is all you need. I’ll be there as well. Let me know if you have any questions

Our club runs on volunteers, and we’re looking for coaches — especially for our in-house league this fall.

Never coached before? No problem. Our Director of Coaching and Player Development provides all the practice plans, teams often practice and work together, and you can have multiple coaches on one team. You’re never on your own!

A few things to know:
✅ We need coaches at all levels
✅ You don’t need a child in the program to coach — everyone’s welcome
✅ In-house registration is reimbursed for coaches
✅ It’s a great way to give back to the club

The Grand Rapids Area Soccer Club (GRASC) welcomes community input at Board meetings. To ensure respectful and constructive participation:
- An Open Forum is offered 15 minutes prior to the start of the regular agenda for general feedback, suggestions, or positive input.
-A Public Input session is held at the conclusion of the meeting for follow-up comments or responses to agenda items.
