This past year we only had two (2) brackets that did not fill complete. We would like to see if we can do that in 2027. The Silver Puck Challenge is known for having one of the most affordable and competitive adult hockey tournaments in the state. Give us a LIKE, FOLLOW and SHARE.

Bracket Specific Rules:
Players must be 30 years of age on opening night of your first game.
Goalies must be 27 years of age on opening night of your first game.

Silver Puck Challenge XXIII | Now that we have been removed from the tournament, but the memories are still fresh . . . We will be looking for anything that we could do a little better.

This isn't a publicly throw anyone or any team under the bus moment. BUT a chance to send us a message of players, teams, format concerns you may have regarding your bracket and/or tournament. May be a team is a little too strong, or a too soft for a bracket, or you don't feel like a rule is fair. Shoot us a message so we can look into it and/or address anything we should take a look at. Thank you.

We also want to inform all captains that we have added a couple of new "cards" to the player watch list. Blue, a participant has a jersey and has not returned it to the captain and/or tournament; and Green a participant owes money to the captain and/or tournament. Players with these cards will not be able to participate in future AEA events until the situation is rectified. We're a community and none of us should be taken advantage of . . .

Everyone has a full year now to look at their teams, and start recruiting players for next year. We should have next year's dates available very soon. We can tell you we will have some openings available in 2027. So if you want to claim a possible spot early, please register now.

Hockey Hold'em XII | Lets get ready to "Gamble Our Way to the Top!" . . . Hockey Hold'em XII is only two (2) months away. We need at least 80 skaters to make this event possible. Top 28 participants with the most chips will earn their way to Championship Sunday.

Hockey Hold'em champions will get the opportunity to select from a wide range of prizes on Championship Sunday.

Silver Puck Challenge XXIII | What a wild and crazy ride this tournament season was. We've made it through and now look forward to next year and Silver Puck Challenge XXIII (2027).

Next year will be our 23rd installment of Michigan's most competitive beer league tournaments in the state. We have crowned a lot of first time champions this year; Pinpall Pete's (40+), Punishers (30+, III), Penninga Farms (B+), Drew P Ercocks (C+), The Stronghearts (B), SPC (C) and Working On It (30+ II). Congratulations to all of our SPCXXII champions.

The Silver Puck Challenge can now say we had our largest tournament in our history as well. Bringing in 76 teams and over 1200 skaters to the show!!! There's not to many beer league tournaments that have done what we have done!!! Truly blessed because of all of you. We are an amazing beer league hockey community.

Thank you to all of the officials that have given up their weekends to be a part of the Silver Puck Challenge! We really appreciate everything you do and giving the opportunity to get with our friends, families and teammates over these early summer months.

We had a great ice all season long as well. Thank you all so much.
