Our REACH summer recreation program starts this week! This is a free drop in program for kids ages 7-15. Each day our staff will have activities, games, and snacks for participants. I wanted to bring awareness to the “Old School” City League days! When we packed Gyms and every game was a battle to show the city who’s best! I know, You young Boys did your thing, Don’t get it twisted 🌪 there is a few I believe who could compete at that level! But from 2000-2005 the city of Grand Rapids had some of the best basketball you could ask for! My Goal is to bring to light some highlights of that era and dialogue in the comments. If you have any memories of these times or maybe even notice yourself in any of these productions, feel free to chat below. I will be posting more highlights looking forward to your feedback!
