Coach Ethan's UYP Success Story 08/05/2026

Relistening to past client success stories from inside our Soul Alignment Coaching program - Unleash Your Potential. So beautiful being reminded what's inside this container, perhaps it'll speak to you, too. Simply love what I get to do. πŸ–€

"I've discovered what powerful alignment feels like in the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. I don't know if I've ever felt this aligned in my life about a goal; the authenticity behind it is ineffable. The joy I feel participating in my purpose and work as a result of UYP feels like one of the highest joys in the world, and I'm only just beginning."

Who you choose as a coach and trainer matters.

Hire a coach & get mediocre results for a couple years, eh.

But stay for 5 years. . 10 years . .

now we're talking about your foundation building years in your 20's, 30's, 40's, etc. that'll allow you to compound strength, hypertrophy & endurance into years beyond.

> does your coach utilize the most effective methods? Compound lifts get the biggest bang for your buck.

> do they utilize the most efficient teachings to get the most out of your precious time, energy, and effort?
Proper biomechanics, volumes, intensities, frequency and progressions ensure safety, alignment, and allow you to get as strong as possible.

- do they listen, adapt, and ensure your plan meets you where you're at - while not letting you settle - and utilize the tools most beneficial for your soul's evolution?

Pretty loaded questions. And, I don't have all the answers.

But what I do know, is we've had clients come to us in the last year who had been with other gyms & other coaches (some 6 years, some 8 years, etc.) to which the answer to some or all of these questions is no.

Where you go in 1, 2, 5 years from one coach to another can be a totally different place.

And i've been on each end of this as an athlete. I've had coaches who allowed me to push so hard it wasn't sustainable. It left me burnt out & injured. I've also had coaches who allowed me to stay too comfortable & didn't push me enough. It's these experiences that inform my edges, & give me the responsibility to learn those of our clientele, as we discover navigating different gears.

Complacency might feel good now, but it will make things harder later. Contrary, anyone can push you hard now, but no rest does not last.

Calculated, sustainable progress is the goal, and reward.
An ongoing dialogue between coach and athlete, verbally & non-verbally. A process to be respected, and revered.

Lastly, good coaches might not be the cheapest, & there's good reason for that. Good work takes time; investment of resources, time, energy, and practice. People pay for good work - for results; and results are not cheap, but earned.

Respect the work, invest in your standard.

move in ways that feel good, supportive, & aligned.

trust the unfolding, let it come to you,
as you sit in awe of each step.

It's such an honor to coach,
And witness you all becoming lighthouses. πŸ•―

Seeing you all evolve in your practices -

getting to have a glimpse & insight into your Yoga practice, and, for many of you, your strength & conditioning journeys, too, and so much more. . .

Something I'll never take lightly.

Getting to cheer for & watch you create
more space for joy,
more space for what you love,
and witness you - become more you.

Inspiring your partners, family members, and those you might not even realize around you to pursue
thier highest version & vision, too.

And, getting to coach said partners & family, too!

Thank you, Grand Rapids.πŸ™πŸ»
