This award is a testament to the dedication, passion, and hard work of our players, coaches, volunteers, board members, families, and supporters. Every practice, every game, every volunteer hour, and every moment spent building a positive hockey experience has helped make this achievement possible.

At GRAHA, our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and competitive environment where young athletes can develop their skills, build lifelong friendships, and foster a love for the game. We are proud to see those efforts recognized by MAHA.

Get ready for a full day of hockey, family fun, and community impact at the Hockey Players in Business West Michigan Chapter’s Back to Hockey Marathon on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Patterson Ice Arena from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The day kicks off with youth hockey games before the featured matchup as the GRAHA Coaches take on “The Suits” from Hockey Players in Business, with puck drop set for 2:30 PM. Families can hit the ice during the Open Skate with Mascots from 4:00–5:00 PM, while fans enjoy a lively Fan Fest featuring parking lot games, a used equipment sale, silent auction, and raffle.

The celebration wraps up with a Member VIP Social Hour from 5:00–7:00 PM, bringing together hockey players, business leaders, families, and supporters for an evening of networking and camaraderie.

Whether you’re a player, parent, fan, or community supporter, this event is the perfect way to kick off the hockey season while supporting the growth of the game and strengthening connections throughout West Michigan’s hockey community.

If you are cleaning out your hockey gear and want to donate items to GRAHA for our sale you can drop it off at Patterson Ice Center in the bin by the GRAHA office. Or come on the day of the sale! Gently used and clean please!
