I was in the USMC stationed in Hawaii till the Marine Corps sent us to Alaska for a month of cold weather training. It was colder & they had more snow in Michigan & it was colder than in Alaska at that time. While it was neat being in Alaska, it would have been a lot cooler being back home that year...
