Griff's Sled Hockey Camp

Very excited to announce that Grand Rapids, MI has received sanctioning to be the only existing International Silver Stick tournament for Youth Sled/Sledge Hockey! While more details are yet to come, late March 2025 will be our first and hopefully the largest Youth sled hockey tournament in North America(maybe the world)! We will welcome any Youth team that would like to attend from the USA, Canada, and even overseas if teams want to make the trip. We will likely have five competitive tiers so that your team can compete against teams at equal levels. Our goal is to grow the sport of sled/sledge hockey at the local levels by creating safe, fun, and competitive atmospheres with good sportsmanship and integrity! Please spread the word and mark your calendars, our goal is to have a minimum of 20 teams at the inaugural event. For more information on International Silver Stick visit their site. "My 15 year old hockey goalie is scheduled to have his left leg amputated just above his knee on 2/17 while he continues to courageously battle osteosarcoma (diagnosed 12/1/2020). We are trying to put together a video with clips from people all over the world wishing him well and just telling him “he’s got this”. If you could take a few seconds out of your day to make a little video of support for my son, Gage I would appreciate it so much!! Our plan this year is to have Griff’s Sled Hockey Camp in June, but based on the virus let’s call it “on hold until we know more”. If the situation is right we could still put together a June camp, but if needed we could try to push the camp to later in the summer. In the meantime we hope everyone stays safe an healthy. As soon as we feel comfortable making an appropriate decision about camp for this summer we will certainly let you know!

Fantastic Griff's Sled Hockey Camp this past weekend! HUGE "THANK YOU's!" to all of the Coaches and Sled Wings families that helped with meals and much more! It was amazing to see the athletes keep their energy levels up through nearly six hours of ice time plus off-ice workouts!
Your hard work and practice will pay off!

Hi Sled Hockey Campers -
We may have had issues with our website for registration on the first couple of days, so if you registered please check the list below to assure you are listed. If not listed please re-register...sorry for any inconvenience.
Also, this is 2nd call for registration, please don't wait as we could fill up!
Finally, a clarification on the apartments we are using. You are not required to use the apartments, they are just an inexpensive opportunity. Also, they are for players and parents/families and we will not have supervision or chaperones for your children under 18, they should have someone with them. It is OK however if you put your child under the supervision of another parent and we can put them in the same apartment.
