As another season comes to an end, we’d like to announce that The Spoke Folks has closed its doors for the last time. We greatly enjoyed one last summer season at a new home thanks to The Other Way, but it was not enough to sustain the work. While we are sad to be closing permanently, we feel gratified about the impact that was made while we were part of this community. Thousands of people on affordable bikes. Thousands of people who are more confident to ride through the City and own the road. Thousands of people who were able to see themselves in the cycling world because of the diversity of our staff. Thousands of people who because of the Spoke Folks had transportation to get to work so they could support themselves and their families. Thousands of kids who no longer have to ride around on bikes that are missing seats and falling apart. Thousands of friendships formed. Thousands of memories made. Thank you to everyone for eight amazing years! Thank you to all of our supporters who gave so much of their time to bring this organization to life. From our founder and all of our staff, board members, and volunteers over the years; to the businesses that supported us; to everyone that has donated a bike or paid it forward with a monetary donation; to our non profit partners; to all of our friends and customers. The heart of the Spoke Folks has always been all of you. Ride on 🚲🚲
