Congrats to Aileen for taking home this cargo bike from Eunorau, the Max Cargo.

I heard a crazy story about this bike from her husband Danny. The title of the story is "eBikes are so fun you might lose track of time and your husband will eventually call the cops on you."

The night she took this home, she left the house on the bike without her phone and lost track of time. Danny waited patiently for a while, then took a bike ride on their other bike through the park looking for her. Then he tried to call a few friends. Eventually, Danny decided he'd be a pretty bad husband if he didn't take action, and he Called The Cops!

Just as he was describing the situation, Aileen walked through the door, blissfully unaware that she'd been gone for quite a while.

So just be careful if you buy an eBike from me. You should plan a little extra time for your leisure rides 😎

Congrats to Tyrese for taking home this Aostirmotor A30. Tyrese got a new job and he needed transportation STAT. I'm glad we were there to connect him to this affordable model!

Congrats to Tom for taking home the very snazzy Carbon 1 Pro bike, made by Urtopia. This brand is very tech-forward, with features like fingerprint unlock, bluetooth pairing, security notifications, and an app to share rides with other Urtopia owners. It's also our only carbon fiber eBike. Like I said... snazzy. Enjoy it!

We opened up shop the other day and two neighbors wanted to try the motorcycle-looking eBikes from RAEV. I believe someone said, "Dude that one is SICK."

Happy World Bike Day! What better way than to introduce our newest bike technician.

I'm pleased to introduce bryan, our bike technician! He is a hands-on guy whose other interests include woodworking and writing.

He is also connected to a host of grassroots organizations, including the Grand Rapids Food Co-op, which he has been diligently growing for several years. He helped lay the foundations of a microcollege in Wisconsin called Thoreau College. And he's involved in the land use committee at Circle Pines Center. How did we manage to get on his schedule?! We feel very lucky to have him at West Michigan eBikes.

We're going old school with some neighborhood marketing. Since we're located near Madison and 28th street, we're hoping to get some good foot traffic this summer. With any more days like today it should be a cinch! One neighbor, James, stopped by and he's planning to buy a bike for his grandson. Good grandpa award goes to James.
