Exciting News: EAU Dance is part of the Grand Rapids Ballet family!
Since starting in 2016, EAU Dance’s mission and teaching philosophy have remained the same. For over 800 students, EAU Dance has provided serious dance education that challenges and inspires students of all ages and abilities in a positive atmosphere. I am so proud of EAU Dance’s family friendly culture and studio environment that promotes positive self-image, poise, and confidence; recognizing the benefits of a disciplined dance education can last a lifetime.
As we celebrated a decade of EAU Dance together this past spring, I felt eager enthusiasm to grow our dance community and be a fully present solo mom and provider. I deeply felt the importance of collaboration to continue sharing my passion and the joy of dance.
It is with heart-felt gratitude that I say “thank you” for being part of our EAU Dance family and hope you’ll join me for dance classes in Ada as we “step” into an exciting new chapter together!
I’m thrilled to announce that EAU Dance is now part of the Grand Rapids Ballet family!
Grand Rapids Ballet has two campuses for students ages 3-adult associated with Michigan’s only professional ballet company. This relationship provides our EAU Dance community with expanded class offerings between two school locations with ample class times and days to choose from for busy families.
Grand Rapids Ballet School is located in downtown Grand Rapids, and a NEW Grand Rapids Ballet School Ada Campus, opening this month (September 2026) is where I will be teaching the classes that have historically been on our EAU Dance calendar. For for the first time ever, GRB will be offering musical theatre jazz, tap for all ages, and a preschool combo class at the Ada Campus. This is in addition to classical ballet, creative movement, moving with Parkinson’s classes, masterclass opportunities, enhanced training programs, and more.
There are MANY options for ballet for students between both Grand Rapids and Ada locations, in addition to Creative Movement classes and ballet for children on Saturdays, and adult ballet for all experience levels, including a new Ballet 101 class.
Here are the classes I will be teaching at the Grand Rapids Ballet Ada Campus that will have the same curriculum and "feel" that you've experienced at EAU Dance. The classes I am teaching will begin mid-September.
Tuesdays:
Preschool Combo (Ballet and Tap for ages 3-5)
4:30-5:20pm
Youth Medley (Musical Theatre Jazz and Tap for upper elementary and middle school)
5:30-6:30pm
Adult Musical Theatre Jazz
6:30-7:30pm
Adult Tap
7:30-8:30pm
Fridays:
Preschool Combo (Ballet and Tap for ages 3-5)
9:30-10:20am
Adult classes are punch card based and child/youth classes have monthly registration options, as opposed to long-term commitments up front. Pricing is very comparable to what you have been budgeting for EAU Dance.
I appreciate your patience, flexibility and understanding during this exciting transition time.
I wholeheartedly hope you’ll join me on this adventure. The relationships and friendships formed from our EAU Dance community are very special to me.
