Recollection:

Somehow, I lost my damn eyeglasses in our pit and that was that. I took all of my gates that day with vision like I opened my eyes under water. Cloudy water.

I can tell in this pic that my eyes aren’t focused on anything and I remember the associated moment on this big jump face where I was like, “just pull and hope it works- cuz you can’t see sheeeeee..”
