Member-Member Championship Winners!

Chris and Pat survived the 3-hole shootout and when "Thee" McGinty's birdie putt went in on #18, it was all over! Chris was quoted as saying..."I carried him all weekend, and he carried me in the shootout." It was a team effort for both Chris' and Pat's first major championship at Prospect Bay. Those are not easy to come by and I personally cant think of two better champions for this year as both played integral roles in ensuring the golf course renovation got underway this spring. We thank them for that, their sportsmanship, and for being all-around great dudes.

Since the fall, Prospect Bay residents have been growing oysters from spat off their docks in partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Last week, their oysters were collected at the Boat Basin and then had a very short trip to the Eastern Bay Oyster Reef where they will help improve water quality and habitat.
