That feeling you get when you win your first 6-Hour Endurance Karting race 😁

Thats a wrap on race weekend for the 2022 Chicagoland 360 (6hr) Endurance Karting race at Kart Circuit Autobahn!

Region Racecraft fielded 3 teams out of the 17 total teams entered (almost 20% of the grid!) and brought home 2 Top 10 finishes, 2 Best in Class, and one fast lap award - plus the overall race win 🏆

The day started with a huge thunderstorm that absolutely soaked the track and grounds. The storm finally managed to break up around 11:30: the track was cleared of standing water, and the race started in the wet around noon.

Out of our 8 drivers, 5 were racing competitively for their first time (let alone in the rain), and they all adapted to the conditions - racing through the weather to a fast and dry track by the end of the race. Congrats to Tony & Dane on winning, and congrats to all of our drivers on driving a hard fought race!

This was easily of the most intense karting races we’ve ever been a part of, and the team at Endurance Karting and Autobahn were absolutely on-point every step of the way. Thanks to everyone involved for making this one for the books.

Team RR Racing brought home the hardware 🏆

After a long, hard fought 6 hours (which saw the team battle with the race leaders for almost 100 straight laps) - Tony & Dane managed 1st in the Semi-Pro class and 4th overall in the Endurance Karting 6 Hours of Pittsburgh at Pittsburgh International Race Complex.

We finished ahead of every team in the Pro class, and crossed the checkered just beyond the lead lap.

Great memories, friends, connections, and experiences were made this weekend. Thank you to the amazing team at Endurance Karting as well as all of our sponsors, and see you all again in Chicago at Kart Circuit Autobahn in July for the Chicagoland 360!
