Milo is turning. Fall is coming.

Kyle had a great trip to Iowa. And he has a big double bearded bird for his taxidermist.

Zac came all the way from South Georgia and it only took him about 30 minutes of hunting to bag a big mature tom that had spurs just shy of 1.5 inches and over 25 pounds ! Congrats Zac 🦃

I can’t remember exactly how many years Rick has hunted with us but I know he has taken his bird on the first day every time he has been here. Great guy and great hunter. We love having him in camp. It was touching, when he left I went to shake his hand and he gave me a full out hug and he told me this is one of his favorite places to hunt. And that means a lot to me. Congrats Rick !

Got into some good ones today. Bringing some meat home! Thanks to Jeremy at all out guide service, and our buddy Jason for offering a place to stay and great food.

Nothing better than a father and son enjoying a hunt together with us. Especially with a 6.5 year old buck. Congrats Bobby on your first Iowa buck and I am positive it won’t be your last !

Turnip/wheat plots got just enough rain at the right times late summer. The buffet is set up.

Milo plots looking good. Awesome for pheasants and quail but a great plot for all other wild game as well.

Finished the last of the plots a couple weeks ago. After borrowing buddies Great Plains drill I just had to have one. First plot with the new drill. Love it.

Turnip mix plots going in. Give us another shot of rain!

Todd came all the way from Georgia. Long drive but only took about 10 minutes after fly down on the first morning to tag out on his 2nd season bird. But the early tag out gave us plenty of time to hit some farm ponds !
