Yesterday was an incredible day at the Trent Mahoney Wrestling Pin Camp at H.L. Bourgeois!

A huge thank you to Trent Mahoney for taking the time to share his knowledge, experience, and passion for the sport with these athletes. The techniques, intensity, and encouragement he brought to the mat made for an outstanding camp.
Seeing these wrestlers show up, work hard, and push themselves in the offseason is exactly what builds successful athletes.

As coaches, we couldn't be prouder of this group. They came ready to learn, challenged themselves, and never backed down from hard work. The dedication they're showing now is laying the foundation for what's to come this season.
Keep grinding. Keep improving. Keep believing in the process.

Today, some of our wrestlers had the opportunity to attend the USMC Sports Leadership Academy Wrestling Camp in Baton Rouge, and what an incredible day it was!

Not only did our team win the Team Challenge, but we were also honored to receive a $1,000 donation to our wrestling program! We are so grateful for the support and excited about what this means for our athletes.

More importantly, our wrestlers were eager to learn and grow as leaders. Leadership is one of the most valuable skills an athlete can develop not just on the wrestling mat, but in everyday life. Today's camp challenged them to think beyond competition, work together, and become better teammates and role models.

We're incredibly proud of each wrestler who represented our program today. Thank you to the USMC Sports Leadership Academy for investing in the next generation of leaders. The future is bright for our team! 💪🤼‍♀️🤼🇺🇸
