Emerging Voices

Congratulations to Lydia. Today was a personal best. She made it into two of the 5 elimination rounds in Impromptu speaking. Not sure what her final place was but we can say that she is in the top 100 students in the country. Such a great accomplishment. Phoenix bound next year for sure.

Congratulations, 1st day of supplements down and Lydia has advanced to the second day in Impromptu speaking. One more day closer to being on the big stage.

Two days of competition down. Tomorrow starts supplemental events. Before it starts time to relax with some american history. As Thomas Payne once said near this location "give me liberty or give me death."

Always a favorite part of opening day. Such a powerful thing to watch so many students stand and support the congressional powers. Good luck to our representatives Nolan and Delaney.

Three teams but one amazing group. Ready for round 1 tomorrow.

Off to Nationals and ready to represent Great Falls.

Who all likes a parade? We are putting together a float for the 4th of July parade. Any current, future of past speech and debate students/coaches are welcome to join us. Can be from any of the Great Falls schools. Let us know if you want to hop on board.

School is officially out for the year. It has been a great year. 8 students going to nationals next weekend, 2 who became Academic All Americans, and so many top placed rounds we can't count them all. Keep an eye out for summer activities and fundraisers to help support our next season.
