Hi Lacrosse Families! The City Rec is having a fall league! The registration deadline has been extended and they are looking for more player to flesh out the league. Summer league was fun and a great opportunity to continue to throw around.
Here is the info from the City website:

Lacrosse - 16+

Deadline: was Sunday, August 27 (But you still can register)
Dates: September 6 - October 25
Fees: $75/person by deadline, $100 on or after Monday, August 28 (if space is available)
Times: Games start at 6 & 7:30pm
Meets at: Fort Missoula Regional Park - Bella Vista Synthetic Turf Field
Format: 6-week league, single-elimination tournament, officiated
Game Day League Skill Level Max. Number of Players

Hey Lacrosse Athletes, this is a note from the Big Sky Cross Country Coach. If you don't have a fall sport, this is a great way to stay (or get) in shape so you can leave them in the dust during the lacrosse season.

Hello to all student athletes! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I am Jo Ruby, the Head Cross Country coach. I have the privilege of working with the very talented team at Big Sky. We want you to join us! If you have never run before, that’s ok! We have a place for you on our team! If you would like to try something new, do it! Come join us! Cross Country is fun! We have already started our summer practices. We are running easy runs, strength training and tempo runs. We have a page, Big Sky High School Cross Country and Track. I always post the times and places of the summer runs on Facebook. We practice Monday-Fridays at 8am.

As coaches, we love to get our athletes out into the mountains and trails during the summer. If you are coming in with a base of running, then I will jump you right in. If you have never run before or aren’t doing much yet, we will start you off slowly and work you in.

This is a great opportunity to meet new people, exercise outside, be part of a fun team, enhance your high school experience and find the joy and love of running.

Hey all. Thanks to those of you who were at the meeting on Wednesday. For those of you who missed it, we’ve pushed the registration deadline to the 31st to get a few more folks signed up to get 4 teams. As of this morning, we have 31 people. I just created a Facebook event for our pick-up game on the 31st at Fort Missoula Regional Park. For those of you on the social media, feel free to invite your friends, share it, like it, and all that jazz.



When: Wednesday 31st, 6:30-8:30pm

Where: FMRP on the Bella Vista Synthetic Turf

How much: Free!

What you’ll need: Helmet, stick, gloves.
