Perfect weather outside for dropping in to Adaptive Yoga training within my Clinical Yoga Therapy program. I love adding to my knowledge bank and deepening my personal practice. For the next 5 days I'll be broadening my understanding of the practice of yoga asana and how to adapt therapeutically for all students. 🙏

Finished up day 1 of Trauma informed yoga training within my Yoga therapy program. We enjoyed a post lunch yoga nidra and discussion. As I got back into my seat and off my blanket my cat burrowed into the blanket and is now marinating in the delicious nidra vibes I left behind. Touché kitty, I'll take my afternoon nap somewhere else.

Day 1 of my 1st training of the year is a wrap! I'm so grateful for this chapter of my life that is all about healing and growing as a human. Learning online was something I had great hesitation for in the past, but this program is so engaging, thorough and enjoyable it hardly feels like work!! More to come... 💗

This is something that I believe will be so helpful in my continued healing journey as I take on new challenges and chase my goals. Old "survival" habits die hard and I have big things to do!!

The first session of my Clinical Yoga Therapy program starts Thursday and the topic is... "Yoga for recovery" I'll be sharing bits here and there over the 5 days of training and planning ways to share this knowledge with the community.
