Merry Christmas! We will be open 3 to 6pm Monday through Saturday until 2 January. Closed Christmas eve and day. We received new skates, socks, bags and gloves. We are sitting really good on helmets too. Stick selection is pretty decent right now.
Sorry, but no sharpening until 2 January.

We are back up to full speed now, thank you for bearing with us through our weird hours due to family matters and quarantine.
Watch for skate and stick specials which will start today and expand into more models over the next few days.

406hockey needs someone to run the scoreboard and clock at the rink tomorrow night, 8pm. This will be for the Volts /Goons game.

Announcing the first ever game between the Electric City Volts and the Goose Bay Goons! Friday the 13th at 8pm in Great Falls! The Goons' Maurice Lacroix (Jailbird) has just returned to their bench after a 10 game suspension for spearing, so hopes are high in Goose Bay.
Meanwhile, the Volts are set to shock the Goons with their 3rd win in a row after beating Havre twice on their road trip.
Come support your Electric City Volts this Friday the 13th at 8pm at the Great Falls Iceplex!
The Goons are bad and mean, but they just might be unlucky in this no-holds barred, old-school hockey match-up.
Admission is $8 at the door, 10 and under free. Beer and concessions will be available.

406 hockey will be closed Wednesday, Thanksgiving day Thursday, Friday and Saturday. You can call 750-9537 on Saturday, and someone can open up for you if you need to buy anything. No sharpening will be available until Monday. Sorry for any inconvenience but the Whitetail rut is calling.

406hockey is offering a Goaltender Development Program!
This program will consist of several training sequences. Each sequence is comprised of four sessions. Goaltenders who sign up for a training sequence will receive 4 sessions, 1 each week, with a highly experienced goalie instructor. We will be utilizing a "pro-angle" goalie training aid, which has been described as "revolutionary, night and day difference".

Goaltender Development Program
Implementing the strategic PRO ANGLE DEVICE ( AKA the Difference Maker ) used by NHL & AHL
Goaltender coaches. Acquire the skills which will allow you to determine and place yourself in
the OPTIMAL blocking position for shots from all angles! Resulting in higher save percentage
and lower GA average.

Training Sequence # 1 ( 4 sessions )
Static Lineal positioning utilizing the PRO ANGLE . “ FEEL VS REAL “
“ I didn’t know I was doing it wrong for so long “

Session # 1
Angle, Square and Depth. Determine optimal blocking position and stance within the
PRO ANGLE horizontal pyramid. ( 5 angles 15 locations )

Session # 2
Establish proper butterfly ex*****on. Identify and eliminate common flaws and mistakes.
Initiate BOX control with optimal save selection and save sequence. These are all done
within the PRO ANGLE horizontal pyramid ( 7 angles 21 locations ) These skills are
essential to having a higher save percentage and lower GA average.

Session # 3
Implementing skills that are developed in sessions #1 and #2 into action with pucks and live shots.
Using the PRO ANGLE with real time analysis and explanation. This is when FEEL vs REAL becomes crystal clear!

Session # 4
Conclusion of Training sequence #1. Combining all of the previous skills that have been acquired from
previous sessions for a comprehensive understanding and perspective. Resulting in a goaltenders' skill increasing. A learning experience like no other with a goal to constantly improve.
