Let’s be honest with each other, no one (maybe a select few crazy people ) is trying to lose weight over the holiday season. Here is the problem though: we make excuses for eating and drinking poorly past just a single day or a single meal. Overdoing it just on Christmas day turns into overdoing it the entire month of December. The Holiday party at work and the ugly sweater party at your friend’s house. Then New Year’s Parties start. Then It’s cold and snowy out and it’s just too easy to eat comfort food. Your neighbor made cookies and you can’t let them go to waste. And so on and so on…. Does that sound familiar? Before you know it, by the year end, you have gained 10-15 lbs. and you continue this trend for years. Just think, 5 years of gaining 10-15 lbs. a year quickly turns into 50-75 lbs! Read Kyle’s Tip, link to the blog post is in the comments.

Happy Halloween!
Balance Health is excited about the opportunity to partner with Soldiers’ Angels to collect extra Halloween candy to support our troops! We think it is important to be able to support our troops while they are away during the holidays. Also, we care about your health and wellness and want to inform you about the harmful impacts of excess sugar.
We understand this is a fun holiday for the kids but at some point, too much candy is just too much. To keep the fun, we are providing the opportunity for kids to bring in extra candy for money, a prize, a raffle drawing, and a way to help others. For every pound of candy donated to our troops, kids can get a dollar or a prize out of the toy box. Kids can get paid for up to 5 pounds of candy. For every pound of candy, they will be entered into a drawing for a fun night out.
We will be collecting candy Tuesday, Nov 1st – Friday, Nov 4th. Stop by the office during working hours and we can make a trade! Please be patient if it takes us a minute as our staff may be busy helping clients.
Look out for our upcoming video if you are interested in learning about why Dr. Frank Morgan believes sugar is “public enemy #1”.
Please do not buy extra candy to donate. If you want to support our troops, please consider making a financial donation as we must ship the candy. Please reach out to Whitney if you would like to do this.
Thank you for your time and support! We appreciate each and every one of you!
*This opportunity is for Balance Health clients only
