Rocky Mountain Senior Games
The Rocky Mountain Senior Games are Colorado's qualifying event for the biennial Summer National Senior Games.
The City of Greeley has partnered with the Colorado Senior Sports Development Council (CSSDC) to bring the Rocky Mountain Senior Games to Colorado. CSSDC is the governing board of the Rocky Mountain Senior Games and is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. City seeks to build National Senior Games cauldron in Civic Plaza Albuquerque will host thousands of senior athletes next year for the National Senior Games, and now the city’s looking to build an Olympic-esque torch to welcome the crowd.

This week, NSGA was involved in the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) annual conference and leadership summit in Long Beach, California. Andrew Walker, NSGA’s Director of Health and Wellness, participated in presenting in multiple sessions and sharing information about the Senior Games Movement and the health benefits its athletes are enjoying from their active lifestyles.

Milner is widely recognized as the founder of the active aging industry in North America. Dychtwald is a gerontologist, psychologist, educator, lecturer, consultant, entrepreneur and expert on aging-related issues who has authored 16 books and is founder and CEO of Age Wave, a research and consulting company with expertise in aging issues.
