Well woulda look at that, after day one of the PBA50 Tour US Open, Colorado’s own Ricky Schissler is in the lead. Schissler bowled the double burn yesterday and took full advantage as he was the only athlete in the field to be +200 for a block. Schissler bowls the 12:30 squad today, come cheer on the local favorite!

New sponsor this year for the event was Buffalo Brand Seed. Our boy Ronnie Neath II bowls a few nights a week out here, and has always been willing to help when he can. Now that we have had some moisture in the NoCo, your yard may need some attention, Neath and the boys have all your answers for all your lawns needs. Look em up and show them some support.

Day 1 of qualifying for the PBA50 Tour US Open is set to begin at 9am today, as the A block takes the lanes. Stars such as Mike Dias, Tom Hess Bowling, Robert Smith, Jon Rakoski, and last years winner of the event Andres Gomez take the lanes for their first of 3 6 game blocks. The other 2 squads take place at 12:30 and 4 for the next 3 days.

Of course none of this is possible with the help from our friends. Hot Tops Graphics has been outfitting the bowl, and our league bowlers with awards and apparel for the last few seasons. It’s PBA50 Tour practice day here at HPL, presented by Play It Again Sports - Greeley, CO. Today is the perfect day to come down and get autographs, pictures, and rub elbows with the pros in a less stressful arena. After that, tonight is our SOLD OUT Bowl with the Pro’s event. It’s Always a good time!!

Tomorrow, all of your hero’s and friends from the PBA50 Tour will be in town to begin the opening day of the Senior US Open. Schedule is below to follow along all week and then come out to the BowlTV Finals Sunday night.

Tomorrow we are hosting the Greeley Bowling Association’s Masters event, with athletes coming from all over to compete…even a few PBA50 guys sprinkled in. Why PBA50 athletes? Well, starting May 19 we will be hosting the PBA50 Tour US Open for the 4th consecutive year.

Come down and join us all week, as we welcome these athletes back into the HPL! Practice day and Pro-am are Tuesday, with qualifying taking place all week, the live TV show is on the 24th. Help us welcome back these athletes to one of the finest stages around!

Today we will be hosting the final rounds of the Professional Women's Bowling Association - PWBA NoCo Open. The main event, the TV show, will be tonight at 6:30. As we wrap up our first event in Major May, we have to thank Mr. Travis Dumler’s and his support from Play It Again Sports - Greeley, CO. Have those shoes the kids have outgrown? How many bats/gloves you have sitting around? Remember that old snowboard in the shed…for when we had snow? Play it again will take it all, and give you cash. It’s a Win, Win!!

Speaking of winning, we were able to witness the first 300 of the PWBA season last night. 2025 player of the year, New Hui Fen fired one off, as she took the lead in qualifying headed in to today’s second round. She has 5 total titles, with 2 being majors. She’s definitely looking for a tv show! The field has been cut to 24 for the 9am squad with another cut to 12 coming this afternoon for the 2pm squad.
