Wow!!! Great day on the water and amazing bags from all 3 competitors for the Green Bay Walleye Trail Event #1!

All 3 teams received sweet plaques made by Caldron Falls Trading Co.

Will Schneider and Al Schneider take 2nd place with 48.51lbs… and Big Fish with a Green Bay 30 incher!

Chris Bennett and Jeff Wheeland take 3rd place with 43.15lbs; another great bag!

Wild weights with all 3 teams over 40lbs!

The next event will be on July 25th; rules meeting and awards ceremony hosted by The Woods: Golf Club, Pub & Grill, & Banquet Facility.

Hopefully we can get more teams for the upcoming events… but if not; I know Ted, Chris, and I will have a great time again!

We are excited to announce that The Woods: Golf Club, Pub & Grill, & Banquet Facility will be sponsoring this tournament series!

They will be hosting the Green Bay Walleye Trail Event #2 rules meeting on Friday night of July 24th.

And the awards ceremony on July 25th.

And potentially some of the other rules meetings/awards ceremony’s. More info to come.

After further consideration and feedback from the public; we will be switching this tournament series to a TRAILER TOURNAMENT SERIES. Meaning you can launch from any public launch inside of the boundaries.

We will have an in person rules meeting the Friday Night before; most likely at a public park in Green Bay (exact park TBD). The weigh in/awards will also most likely be at the same public park in Green Bay (exact park TBD).

The boundaries and all the rules will be the same (obviously besides the rules that relate to a single launch tournament. (boat draw; boat check in; etc).

Since we are changing to a trailer tournament; I also will be adding an additional rule. ANGLERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE ON THE WATER before 6:30am the day of the tournament.

The best way I can think to enforce this is;

at 6:30am of tournament day each team will have to submit a video through the fishdonkey app that shows both team members; and their boat on the trailer.

This then gives the anglers 30 minutes to launch their boat; and get to their fishing spot by 7am.

AND THEN at 7am each team will take the normal empty livewell and compartments video that is standard through fishdonkey tournaments.

I will have to talk with FishDonkey to make sure this is possible; but I assume it can be done.

Thank you!

04/30/2026

All 3 Green Bay Walleye Trail events are live in the fish donkey app!

It is limited to the first 100 entrants. EACH EVENT WILL CLOSE ON THE SUNDAY NIGHT BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT BEGINS.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SIGN UP AFTER THIS DEADLINE.

thanks!
