It's race day at Winnebagoland BMX!! We will be finishing up the Main that got rained out a couple weeks ago, then run the normal Saturday race. Kids are ready to go!!

State Championship is a wrap. The kids all pedaled hard today and I am so proud of them 😍😍 All 4 of them have come a long way this year!!! It's amazing to see how much all of them have grown and improved.

Lyndsey and Landon didn't make their main, but they both still came home with a State plate today for overall points in the series. Lyndsey was 5th in the State for her age group and Landon was 7th!

Kenzie tried really hard and made her main in her 2nd moto, then brought home 5th place in the main, bumping her to 9th in the State for her age!

Eliza raced total points today and brought home a 3rd pace trophy. She just missed getting a State plate for her age group. She came in 9th in the series, but they only gave out 7 plates for her group.

How cool is this?? Glenn was one of the first people to take the kids under his wing when we first started racing. He has helped them build skills to become stronger riders, and has helped them grow both on and off the track. He is always there with a smile and and an encouraging word, and is really good at getting through to them when they are down after a race that didn't go their way. The kids really look up to him and are lucky to have him as part of their BMX family! 🥰

Today he gifted Kenzie one of his first place trophies that features a picture of him. She was so excited about this and it is a wonderful keepsake that I know she will cherish 🥰

We got drizzled on, they got the track dried off, then it POURED!! But the track is dry and it looks like we have a good window to get this race going!! A huge shout out to the volunteers at Winnebagoland BMX Track for being so quick to get the track dry!!
