We’re incredibly excited to announce that Andrew has accepted an offer to continue his development at the Michel Hidalgo International Football Academy in Antibes, France 🇫🇷 Academie Michel Hidalgo Michel Hidalgo, along with a team of experienced, licensed coaches—including former professionals—creates a high-level training environment focused on individual development of each player. With a holistic approach and strong connections to the professional game Michel Hidalgo is the next step for Andrew to make his dream come to life!

This is exactly what we strive for—creating real pathways for our players to reach the next level and pursue professional soccer. With our strong partnership and connections with Michele Hidalgo, we’re proud to help open doors that allow our athletes to grow on an international stage.

We couldn’t be more proud of Evan Emmenegger on earning his spot on the U.S. National Team roster 🇺🇸

This moment didn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of years of hard work, determination, and perseverance! Qualities Evan has shown from the very beginning.

His journey with us started years ago. Even before officially training under Steve, Evan was being supervised and guided from a distance , soaking in knowledge, building habits, and laying the foundation. In 2019, that relationship became more hands-on as he began training through Purdy Performance and our Purdy Elite program. From that point on, the work truly took off.

Evan spent countless days with Steve and our coaching staff developing his craft, sharpening his technical ability, growing tactically, and committing himself physically and mentally to the process. Nothing was given. Everything was earned.

His dedication led him to play for SC Wave Titletown and SC Wave MLS NEXT, where he competed for two years against top national talent with Coach Daniel Mattos and Marcio Leite From there, he was scouted by Real Salt Lake’s MLS Youth Academy and earned his place on their U16 team. All while still putting in the work at Purdy Performance.

Today, Evan is captaining Real Salt Lake’s U16 squad as a dominant center back , leading from the front with composure, intelligence, and confidence. This past October, he even competed internationally with RSL’s U18 team in Korea, another testament to the trust coaches place in him and the level he continues to reach.

What separates Evan isn’t just talent. It’s his discipline. His coachability. His leadership. His resilience when things get tough. His willingness to put in the extra work when no one is watching. That’s what Purdy Performance is all about! Developing complete players. Not just skill, but mindset. Not just athletes, but leaders.

We’ve watched him grow from a young, hungry player into a true captain — someone who raises the standard for everyone around him.

Evan, we are beyond proud of you. This national team call-up is well deserved, and we know this is just the beginning. The journey continues, and the best is still ahead.
