Triangle Sports Area

We know it’s hard to wait, and we appreciate everyone’s patience.

Last year, we made do with a temporary setup that allowed us to open, but it wasn’t an ideal or long-term solution. While snowmaking equipment is here, construction is still underway and we’re waiting on an electrical panel that’s currently delayed in customs. On top of that, we haven’t received enough natural snow yet.

Thank you for sticking with us as we work to bring you a better, more reliable season at Triangle Sports Area.

❄️ Tubing Hill Update ❄️
While some areas around us picked up 4–6 inches of snow, our tubing hill didn’t get the same coverage. Due to strong winds, we are sitting at only about an inch of thin, patchy snow on the hill.

Because of this, we are sadly unable to open the tubing hill this weekend. We will continue to monitor conditions and will open as soon as we receive enough snow to operate safely.

Even though we have snow in the forecast today, the hills will not be opening. We need at least 6 inches of snow to have a good base and our yearly inspection still needs to be done once we get that snow. The state inspector needs to see everything in full operation. Thank you for your patience and we will post operating hours when we are able to open.

We will be closed this weekend (3/1) due to the warm weather and current hill conditions. Maybe some Wisconsin weather will be back and we can reopen! Stay tuned for updates.

Our tubing hill will be open today from 10:00-4:00.

Ski hills will be closed today due to staff call ins. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding as it’s the season of sickness!!

Our tubing and ski hill will be open this weekend! Come inside the chalet to purchase your ticket, then grab a hot cocoa or maybe a snack. $7 per person (cash only).

Unfortunately we are closed this weekend. We had to close down early Thursday night because of the extremely icy conditions. We are going to start taking the new snow and mixing it with better snow, start re-grooming and shaping on Monday and attempt to open up next Thursday again. We apologize for the inconvenience and understanding as this is a learning year and we are trying the new equipment while using our outside resources as guides.

Unfortunately, due to icy conditions on the hill, we will be closed tonight and this weekend. Our crew will be able to work on the hill next week. Sorry for any inconvenience.
