Still thinking about this past weekend...

Events like the Masquerade Gala are a reminder of what consistent work leads to. And not just the performance itself, but everything behind it.

I'm proud of everyone who stepped out there and made it happen.

If performing interests you, I’d be happy to help you get started.

You're invited to BBJ's Summer Social 💃🏻🕺

Join us on June 19 for a relaxed night of music, dancing, and good company. These nights are less about getting everything perfect and more about just enjoying being on the floor.

“I’ve got two left feet" is something I hear often. But here's the thing...

Everyone learns differently. Some people want to understand the mechanics, others just need to feel it out. The key is finding the approach that works for you and giving it a bit of time.

You don’t need to be naturally coordinated, you just need to start.

Some of our dancers are preparing for the upcoming Garden Masquerade Gala in Rothschild. 🎭

There’s something different about getting ready for an event like this — the focus, the repetition, the small details coming together over time.

Please join me in wishing them good luck!

Sharp. Controlled. Intentional.

Tango is one of those dances that can feel a little serious… until it isn’t. It can be dramatic, playful, and even a bit romantic depending on how you approach it. (Somewhere between Gomez being all in… and Morticia not quite impressed.)

There's still time to jump in if you want to give it a try! We meet Wednesday evenings through June.

Tango has a way of pulling people in! Once you start to understand the rhythm, it just clicks in a different way.

This month’s beginner class is all about building that foundation and getting comfortable with the movement. So if you’ve been waiting to try something new, come join us.

We meet Wednesday evenings in June and you can reach out to me directly to confirm your spot.

Fun fact: The Hustle rose to popularity during the disco era, with dancers packing clubs and moving to the beat of artists like the Bee Gees.

It gained mainstream attention thanks to films like Saturday Night Fever (who remembers this iconic scene?! 👀) where high-energy partner dancing took center stage.

Even today, it’s one of the most accessible and enjoyable social dances to learn.

The studio is closed today in observance of Memorial Day. A day to pause and remember those who have served.

Regular lessons will resume tomorrow.

Wedding season is here, and with it comes that moment — the music starts, and all eyes turn to the floor.

The good news? Your first dance doesn’t have to be stressful or complicated. With the right approach, it becomes something fun, relaxed, and actually enjoyable… the way it should be.

If you’ve got a wedding coming up, there’s still time to make it something special.

(Fun, fun, fun… until the dancing’s done 🎶)

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that progress doesn’t only happen in the studio.

Time between lessons matters just as much. That’s where your body processes, builds muscle memory, and starts to make things feel natural.

We’ll always refine things together here, but the growth? That happens in the in-between too.
