This is a local effort that has gone national. Join us in supporting Brown County Charities.
Women are gathering together to make a quarterly financial commitment to provide the needed funds for local charities and non-profits. The goal of this group is to gather a 100 women who are willing to donate a $100 check to a cause voted on by the women involved. 100 Women who care will make a huge difference in helping our local programs. By combining our efforts our significant donation to the program of our choosing will increase awareness for the charity, while contributing to their cause.

Thank you to everyone that was able to attend the November meeting that took place on the 5th. We had 6 new members in attendance! Thank you to those that have been spreading the word and inviting your friends, let's keep that momentum going into 2026! The results from our charity presenters are as follows: Veterans First 18 votes, Evergreen Theatre 21 votes, and the Jackie Nitschke Center 27 votes. Congratulations to the Jackie Nitschke Center!

Hello 100 Women, we had another fantastic turnout at our third giving meeting of 2025. I want to express my sincere gratitude to all attendees, the charity presenters, and The Duck Blind for generously providing their event space and exceptional service.
Congratulations to JAS for securing our vote with 28 votes. Golden House and CSA tied with 14 votes each.
If you haven’t sent your check yet, please do so as soon as possible so that the charity can receive our donation promptly.
Our next meeting is scheduled for November 5. Mark your calendars and spread the word to anyone that you think might be interested in joining. We had 4 new members at this meeting and we are getting close to the 100 member mark. We would love to get to 100 members or more! Together we are making a difference in our community, please encourage others to join our efforts.

Please note that members who have submitted the application must contact the charity to confirm their ability to present. Lynn, Sherrill, and Jean, please confirm with me that your charity will be able to present in November.

Thank you for the wonderful turnout last night, and welcome to our eight new members! Current membership 88. Let's try to get it up to and over 100. Invite a friend to our next meeting in August.
Congratulations to Firefighters Charity ( now called Local 141 Charities) for receiving the most votes!
Voting totals were Local 141 Charities-27, Veteran's First-25 and YMCA-6.
If you weren't at the meeting, please mail your check ASAP. Remember to leave the payee blank and fill it out for $100.00
