Meet the Coach Monday: Coach Jenny! She will be coaching Xcel Silver and Gold.

"I started in Y gymnastics when I was 7 (and became an original member of the M&M Gliders) After leaving competitive gymnastics years later due to injuries and subsequent fears, I found my love for the sport again through coaching. I enjoy helping gymnasts find their strengths, work through their weaknesses, and, in doing so, build their confidence, achieve their goals, and have fun!"

Meet the Coach Monday: Coach Carol! She will be coaching level 4, 6, 7, 8, and Platinum.

“I have been involved in gymnastics for over 30 years as a judge and a coach. It has been my 'fun' job while I was working in the banking industry. To be able to help gymnasts in accomplishing their goals brings a smile to my face. I’m honored to be a member of the Gymstars!”

"Hi, I'm Lauren! I've been coaching gymnastics for 9 years and recently finished my 15th and final season as a Gymstar athlete. I love the grit, growth, and lifelong friendships this sport creates, and I'm excited to pour that passion into coaching. My goal is to help every athlete build confidence, resilience, and a love for the sport while having fun along the way."

Meet the Coach Monday: Meet Robin!

“When my mom signed me up for gymnastics as a young child I bet she had no idea 35+ years later she’d still be volunteering at my side for YMCA events! This YMCA building and the Gymstars program have been a daily part of my journey for my entire life! I grew up competing as a gymnast, started teaching the moment I was old enough, quickly became a coach after that, and never looked back! I love that gymnastics is the wild platform I’m blessed to use to teach life skills, enhance the journey, and provide a safe space for young athletes to become strong confident adults!”
