Reforestation Camp Snow Bike Trail

Trails are closed today, Sunday February 20th due to warm temps and softening trail conditions. Thanks for helping preserve them for later this week!

Snow bike loop will open at 8am Thursday December 31st...enjoy!

Remain closed thru this week. We are grooming and working on a base, will groom again after next snowfall and should re-open for the weekend.

Thanks and with everyone staying off it will ensure a great base for thr season!

Trail update: Still several trees and branches to cut and clear off of the trail. Several areas with significant water across the trail are also posing a challenge. We have a new Beginner Loop and that is cleared and ready for grooming. Clay will be grooming that loop tomorrow. That loop is around 2.5 miles. Our next efforts will be to get the Orange Loop cleared and groomed. We are hoping to have the Orange Loop ready by next weekend. We will post updates on our progress.

Camp trails are closed due to warming temps and type of precipitation. Please stay off the trails until website says open. Grooming will take place this afternoon and colder temps coming will give us a firm trail for the upcoming week...again, please stay off the trail during this brief warm up. Thank you!

Due to deteriorating conditions on the fat bike loop at the Camp (A Group was out there just now and stopped and turned around and went back to the parking lot so they would not destroy the trail) the Trail CLOSED sign was put up. Because it is after park hours the Park website won’t be updated until tomorrow morning. PLEASE be great trail stewards like this Group was and do not ride the trail. Thank you!

Hello everyone! This is a photo of what Dan saw at the Camp this morning. Even though the trail was posted as closed on the County website and there are 2 baracades with Trail Closed signs on them at the entrance of the Fat Bike Loop at the Camp there were a couple of riders who completely trashed the trail. Dan had to make 2 passes to fix/groom the trail. THANK YOU Dan Szczpanski for grooming today!!! Due to the soft conditions the Fat Bike Trail will be CLOSED. Check the County Website for the most current conditions. Let’s all have patience and wait for conditions to improve. Then we ALL will have a good ride. Stay warm!! 😊

Hello everyone!! The trail is CLOSED for now. Really really soft conditions. A big THANK YOU to Travis McFall for grooming today and a big THANK YOU to Dan Szczpanski for volunteering to groom tomorrow.

Trail is still a bit soft today, can see a lot of places where too much air is being run...take a second and read the poster and if you see someone tearing up the trail...feel free to help them find the right pressure.

The Snow Bike Loop will re-open Friday morning at the Camp. The recent snow is extremely soft and needs another day to set up...please stay off the trail today!

Trail at Camp is currently CLOSED to allow grooming and then trail set up to take place. Please check the Brown County WI trail conditions page before riding, your patience will give us a great surface for the weeks ahead! Looking at a possible Thursday afternoon or Friday morning opening, again...check the website before you ride!
