This photo gives me chills every time I see it. It was taken during the first Packers game following the attacks of September 11, 2001. Chris Gizzi proudly led the team out of the tunnel, carrying the American flag high - a moment of unity and resolve that spoke volumes.

Coincidentally, the Packers faced Washington that night - just as they do tonight, on the 24th anniversary of that tragic day.

It’s hard to believe it has been 24 years. The memories are still so vivid, and this is one of those moments that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Today, we pause to remember those we lost, the heroes who stepped forward, and everyone whose lives were forever changed by the events of that day.
