Good luck to all the Senior Light Racers at Road America today in the final.

We were at Road America this weekend for the Route 66 Sprint Series, and Porter showed strong pace with a real shot to run up front. An incident in Heat 1 set us back to 14th for Heat 2, but he battled back to finish 7th. In the feature, he drove hard—racing with the top five in a very tight pack. Just past halfway, we were caught up in an incident that pushed us off track, and we ended up finishing 13th.

That said, we want to give a big shoutout to the driver involved. Regardless of who was at fault, he made the effort to walk back to Porter and apologize. That gesture meant as much to us as winning. Moments like that remind us how great the karting community—and its kids—really are.

A great Saturday and Saturday night Racing at Road America. Porter started Pole for the feature and lead until the last lap. Tough battle and very close finish. Porter finished 3rd in the Feature.
