Here is how an imagined game between the 2 would play out:

First Quarter:
Belichick wins the toss and defers, wanting to see Lombardi’s offense first. Brett Favre takes the field under center. Lombardi’s game plan is no secret: establishing Jim Taylor right at the teeth of the defense to set the tone.
But Belichick has "Mean Joe" Greene and Alan Page primed. On the very first play, Taylor hits the line, but Page uses that legendary speed to shoot the gap, meeting Taylor two yards deep in the backfield. The collision sounds like a car wreck. Favre, unfazed, tries to test the outside on third down, throwing a bullet to Sterling Sharpe. But Rod Woodson jams him hard at the line, and the pass falls incomplete.
When Marino and the All-NFL offense take the field, Lombardi has his defense playing pristine, fundamentally perfect assignment football. Marino drops back with that lightning-fast release, looking for Randy Moss deep. But Willie Wood reads it from the jump and shades over top, while Charles Woodson plays a textbook trail technique. Marino has to check it down to Mike Alstott, who fights through a vicious hit from Ray Nitschke for a hard-fought four yards.
Quarter Strategy: Both defensive lines dominate. Reggie White and Sean Jones collapse Marino’s pocket, forcing two early throwaways.

Second Quarter:
Belichick starts dialing up disguised coverages to mess with Favre's aggressive eyes. He drops Lawrence Taylor into a simulated zone while sending Jack Ham on a blindside blitz. Favre sees it late, ducks under Ham, and throws a trademark, absolute rocket off his back foot into double coverage. Don Hutson somehow strips the ball away from Deion Sanders in mid-air for a spectacular 35-yard gain. Two plays later, Lombardi calls the classic sweep, Winters and Kramer pull, Taylor follows, and they concrete-mix the edge. Taylor punishes Ronnie Lott at the goal line to punch it in.
Marino answers immediately. He trusts his line, Anthony Muñoz and Larry Allen completely stone-wall Henry Jordan and Gilbert Brown on a crucial third-and-long. Marino utilizes a play-action fake to Walter Payton, drawing Nitschke up just enough to fire a laser into the seam to Tony Gonzalez.
With seconds left in the half, Marino drives them inside the 20. He looks for Jerry Rice on a back-corner fade, but Herb Adderley plays it flawlessly, tipping it away. Morten Andersen comes out and splits the uprights from 35 yards out.
Quarter Strategy: Favre's high-risk, high-reward grit gets the Packers on the board, but Marino’s surgical ex*****on keeps it tight.

Packers 7, All-NFL 3
Third Quarter:
Belichick makes his adjustments at halftime. He tells his defense to take away the deep ball entirely and force Favre to play a patient game. It works. Bruce Smith beats Chad Clifton off the edge, stripping the ball from Favre. Deacon Jones recovers it.
Marino takes over on a short field. Lombardi counters by sending Clay Matthews on an exotic stunt. Matthews gets a hand on Marino's jersey, but Dan, with that zero-step release, flicks his wrist and finds Randy Moss on a crossing route. Moss hits the overdrive gear, leaving the secondary in the dust for a touchdown.
The Packers are reeling, but Favre doesn't know how to quit. He comes right back out and starts dealing. He hits Keith Jackson across the middle, then executes a perfect screen pass to Jim Taylor. The Packers drive deep into All-NFL territory, but the drive stalls when Alan Page and Joe Greene completely shut down a 4th-and-1 fullback dive by William Henderson.
Quarter Strategy: Belichick’s halftime adjustments disrupt the Packers' rhythm, and the All-NFL defense asserts its historic dominance.
Score at the end of the 3rd: All-NFL 10, Packers 7
Fourth Quarter:
Lombardi gets in his team’s face. The ex*****on becomes flawless. In the fourth quarter, the Packer offensive line plays out of their minds. Earl Dotson and Forrest Gregg lock down the edges. Favre orchestrates a grueling, 8-minute, 14-play drive. It’s pure, old-school football. Jim Taylor carries it 9 times on the drive, wearing down the interior. On 3rd and goal, Favre runs a bootleg and fires a relentless missile to Sterling Sharpe in the back of the end zone. The Packers take the lead.
With 2:15 left on the clock, no timeouts, and Bill Belichick holding the clipboard, it’s Dan Marino’s time.
Marino is clinical. He hits Rice out of bounds. He uses Alstott as a safety valve to pick up a first down against an all-out Reggie White rush. With 40 seconds left, the All-NFL team is at the Packer 30-yard line.
Marino drops back. Reggie White gets a legendary bull-rush on Jonathan Ogden, pushing him right back into Marino's lap. Marino hitches, steps up into the pocket, and fires a bullet to the goal line for Jerry Rice.
But LeRoy Butler reads Marino’s eyes perfectly from his safety spot. He breaks on the ball, jumps the route at the 2-yard line, and slaps the ball into the air. Charles Woodson dives, securing the interception just before it hits the grass.
Favre comes out, takes a knee in the classic Lombardi victory formation, and the clock runs out.
These were just some key plays and drives, each team and player having a highlight reel play, Deacon and Reggie get their sacks, Sweetness gets a few good runs, Rays on each side give linebacker clinics, the backs on both sides even eat a little against legends, but Favre and Marino each prove why they are in the list. The grit and inspiration of Favre as the leader, a slight coaching edge, coaching and the chemistry of comradery of the Packers familiarity gives them an edge .
