We brought a little Talladega Nights to GLC for our latest safety lunch. đ
The focus was one of our core values: Do What It Takes.
That means looking out for your coworkers, speaking up and making the safe choice, even when it takes a little extra time.
We had lunch, prizes and an ice cream truck because safety is important, but so is knowing which frozen treat you are choosing before you reach the window.
GLCâs owner, Wes also dressed the part and appeared to be just one sponsorship decal away from beginning a professional racing career.
No races were held. Ice cream was taken very seriously.
Thank you to everyone who made the afternoon fun and to our team for continuing to do what it takes to keep one another safe.

Saturday was a pretty great night for an even greater cause. â¤ď¸đ
GLC Minerals was proud to once again sponsor the Dairy Cares of Wisconsin Garden Party benefiting Children's Wisconsin. Our CEO, Doug Webel, attended and even made a new friend who was clearly ready for the camera.
The best part of the evening was the incredible impact. This yearâs event raised more than $475,000 to help support the children and families served by Childrenâs Wisconsin.
Since Dairy Cares began in 2010, the organization has raised more than $4 million, showing just how much can happen when Wisconsinâs dairy community comes together for a cause that matters.
Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, sponsored, bid, and helped make the evening such a success. We are proud to be part of a community that continues to show up for Wisconsin children and families.

Good people. Great cause. đŠľđ
We're excited to once again sponsor Dairy Cares of Wisconsin and attend this Saturday's event benefiting Children's Wisconsin.
The dairy community has always been about showing up for one another, and this event is a wonderful example of that spirit in action. If you're attending, be sure to check out the silent auction. Every bid helps support children and families who rely on Children's Wisconsin.
Together, we can make a difference, one bid, one donation, and one act of kindness at a time.

We hope to see you Saturday!
Every year, an impressive array of donors steps up to benefit Children's Wisconsin. They are the backbone of our non-profit's annual Garden Party, which has raised more than $3.7 million since our inception 16 years ago.
We'd like to salute our fantastic Bronze Sponsors today, including the Green Bay Blizzard, GLC Minerals, Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese and Lee & Yvonne De Groot.

đ Today, we are giving a little extra appreciation to Wisconsinâs hardest-working celebrities.
They have unique nose prints, best friends, nearly panoramic vision, and somehow manage to spend up to eight hours a day chewing.
Honestly, cows are more interesting than most of us before coffee.
They also play an important role in Wisconsin agriculture, support farm families and rural communities, and provide the milk behind some of our favorite foods.
At GLC Minerals, we are proud to support the people who help keep dairy herds healthy, well-nourished, and thriving.
Happy Cow Appreciation Day to the cows, farmers, nutritionists, veterinarians, and feed professionals who help keep dairy country running!

Upcoming Forecast: Hot, Humid, and Udderly Exhausting.
With temps in the 90s and the heat index feeling close to 100, heat stress can take a toll on dairy cows. It can reduce feed intake, increase water needs, and cause greater losses of essential electrolytes like magnesium.
Magnesium helps support muscle and nerve function, calcium metabolism, rumen buffering, and overall herd health during stressful summer weather.
Because when the forecast feels like a crockpot, dairy nutrition matters.

Last Sunday, GLC Minerals spent the day at the Shawano County Brunch on the Farm as a sponsor, volunteer, and very enthusiastic breakfast supporter.
And let us just say, Shawano County knows how to do a farm breakfast.
There were cows, tractors, smiling volunteers, full plates, and enough scrambled eggs to make you wonder if the chickens had formed a committee.
We loved being part of a day that brought families, farmers, local businesses, and the community together to celebrate Wisconsin agriculture. These events take a lot of work behind the scenes, and it showed in every full plate, farm tour, and friendly face.
A big thank you to the Shawano County Farm Bureau, Kurowski Dairy Farms, and everyone who helped make the day such a success. GLC Minerals is proud to support our local agricultural community and grateful we got to be part of the fun.
