Please HELP us help him live....

Tank was a backyard breeders stud. After a couple of litters, he was given away. That owner he was given to passed away, and Tank was left for who knows how long inside of the home with his deceased owner.

The original breeder took him back and ended up throwing him out in the backyard in a wire crate sitting in his own f***s, totally emaciated.

Confused. Grieving and now being punished for merely being alive, someone who saw his living conditions reached out to a dear friend of mine who I have only met because of his personal efforts rescuing discarded dogs in the area for several years. Our partnership with him joining TH as a foster/volunteer has gotten many dogs vetted through TH, and with his network and his business, they have found loving homes.

Tank came in and was going through the initial vetting, worming, efforts to put on weight, and being loved for the last few weeks, acting completely normal until yesterday.

Yesterday, Tank took a turn, becoming lethargic and barely able to stand. Rushing him to the ER Vet last night, we have found that he has a BLOCKAGE, a towel it appears, that has been there quite some time, and he has become septic.

Tank will have a very rough road of expensive surgery and aftercare to save his life...... BUT HE WANTS TO LIVE. HE DESERVES TO LIVE!!!

Please help us save him! His short life has been full of abuse, neglect, and immense grief. He had started to live a life of care and love to have ingested something, likely while trying to survive after his owners' passing and not being fed for that time.

We have to try to save him.
