This weekend was a fun one…Walked away with a new set of bags and a W 🙌
East Coast Beach Baggers South had their last regional of the season (Ran into some friends I met at states)
🦵 Kicked it off with the Friday Night Regional Blind Draw: went 0-3 in swap throwing a 7.6. Got matched up with an amazing partner Samantha Finley (throwing my 🍒 Power Draggins), and despite her carrying me, we went 2-2 (I started off strong at a 7.86 the first game then got all in my head and did not throw well enough the last 2 games). Completely fumbled the bag 🤦🏾♀️
On to Saturday, partnered up with Jeannie Alfieri for doubles, went 2-3 to end up in Tier 2. Not our best run: we ended going 1-2 but had fun and looked good doing it in our matching Let’s F’ing Go & Cheesebaggers states jerseys. We’ll get it next time!
I honestly felt off all weekend but turned it around for singles. Now I did get kicked down to the losers bracket early after game 2 against Chad Eppert but managed to fight my way back to the championship game, and got the double dip securing 🥇first place in Tier 4 Singles (proudly threw a 7.66 over 107 rounds).
Threw a different set of Power Draggins for Singles (cleaner and a bit faster than my 🍒 ones) that Tim Shabby sold me right before it started and they played great!
Despite it being challenging endurance-wise, I really do like singles.
😍 One of the best things about this co****le community is having friends rooting for you from home, nothing like an unexpected “you got this” text in between games
