FALL HOURS ARE HERE! 🍂⛳

As the days start getting a little shorter, we’re officially transitioning into our Fall Hours at Greencastle Golf Club!

The Golf Shop will be open 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM daily until November 1st. November 1st will be when we transition into our Winter hours.

There’s still plenty of golf left to be played this season, and we’re looking forward to enjoying every bit of fall golf with you! 🍁

A quick reminder: Our dress code remains in effect through November 1st.

Some people leave an impact that never really leaves us.💛⛳

On October 3rd, we invite you to join us for the Sydney Barnes Memorial Tournament, a day dedicated to remembering Sydney, celebrating her, and spending time together doing something she truly loved.

Sydney was an avid golfer, making the golf course a fitting place to gather in her memory.

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Sydney Hudson Barnes Memorial Scholarship, helping support future scholars who share Sydney’s passion for caring for others and making a difference.

🏆 WE HAVE A CLUB CHAMPION! 🏆

After two long and competitive weekends of golf, we have our 2026 Greencastle Golf Club Champion — JEFF KOONS! 👏

Jeff started the championship off by winning the Stroke Play Championship, earning the top seed heading into the Club Championship Match Play rounds. He continued that momentum through the Match Play bracket and came out on top to claim the title of 2026 Club Champion!

What a weekend for Jeff — Stroke Play Champion AND Club Champion. 🏆🏆

Congratulations, Jeff! And a huge congratulations to Austin Green, Colby Lehman, and Chip Wolfe for making it all the way to the final four. It was no cakewalk getting there, and these four put together some great matches along the way.

Thank you to everyone who competed and helped make this year’s Club Championship such a great event. And Jeff, congratulations again on an incredible two weekends of golf! 🏆

⛳ JUNIOR GOLF ACADEMY — FALL SEMESTER! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

Registration is open for our 4-Week Junior Golf Academy at Greencastle Golf Club!

Our Golf Academy gives young golfers focused instruction and on-course experience, with an emphasis on developing strong fundamentals and confidence in their game.

With small class sizes and a 6:1 player-to-instructor ratio, each golfer receives plenty of individual attention throughout the program!

👧🧒 Ages 8–16 welcome

‼STROKE PLAY CHAMPION‼
This weekend, we hosted one of the most competitive events of the year — our Stroke Play & Club Championship! This is no cakewalk, and our players proved just how tough the weekend can be.

The weekend kicked off with the Club Championship Qualifier, a 36-hole stroke play event. The top 15 players, along with last year’s Club Champion, earned their spots in the Club Championship Match Play rounds.

After 36 holes of stroke play, Jeff Koons claimed the 2026 Stroke Play Championship! Even with the rain and humidity yesterday, Jeff put together an impressive performance to come out on top.

Today, our 16 Club Championship competitors took on two rounds of 18-hole match play, narrowing the field from 16 players down to just 4.

Congratulations to Jeff Koons, Austin Green, Colby Lehman, and Chip Wolfe, who have earned their spots in the next round of Club Championship Match Play! After an exhausting weekend of golf, they’ll get a well-deserved week off before returning to compete for a spot in the championship match.

A huge congratulations to everyone who competed this weekend and put their game to the test. It was great to see so many of our members step up and compete. But also congratulations to Jeff Koons for winning the Stroke Play Championship.

In two weeks, these four will battle it out to determine who will be crowned the 2026 Club Champion! 🏆

Well, we have officially done it. We have a hole in one made this year on ALL of our Par 3's!!!

Landon Summers made his on Hole #14 when he was out playing with another single.
Chris Ranieli made his on Hole #3 when he was playing his VFW round.
Nick Vance made his this morning on Hole #6!

🏌Christian Keyes Foundation Golf Tournament Results⛳

We witnessed a first at Greencastle Golf Club today!

When the final scores were posted for todays tournament, our top three teams were all tied—something we've never seen before. To determine the champions, we held a two-hole playoff featuring representatives from all three teams.

After the first playoff hole still couldn't separate them, we went to a chip-off between the three teams. That narrowed the field to two teams, who battled it out on Hole #9 for the championship.

Congratulations to Nick Graham, Max Bell, Jesse Helman, and Greg Funk on an unforgettable victory! 🏆⛳

A huge thank you as well to the other two teams who took part in the playoff. What an incredible finish and a fun way to cap off a great tournament!
